How Long Should Your Chain Be?

This question translates as “how long does it take to develop a particular habit?” Normally, you have a target — maybe a streak of 50 days on your calendar. When you reach the 50th day, it doesn’t mean that you should quit. Rather, you can target 60, 70, and so on. Basically, the point here is to challenge yourself on how long the chain can be. There isn’t really a limit to the chain’s length. You can decide to have a whole-year chain, just for the sake of challenging yourself.
